Rising urban dwelling prices and a desire for greater connection drew our attention outside of Vancouver to build our home.
Ambition
Build a thoughtful family dwelling and community integrated into the surrounding environment.
Results
Featured in Wallpaper.com, Dwell.com, UNCRATE, and in Retreat: Inspired Homes and Ways of Living.
Completed project on time and within 5% of budget despite many unforeseen challenges related to COVID
Role
Close collaboration with design and build team on the the vision of the project and the site. This included creating mood boards, sourcing references, 3D modelling ideas, designing and building key features, and editing the forest to find the ideal site.
Created a visual identity and website for the overall property development, intending to encourage like minded people to be our neighbours.
